Heart Healthy Cayenne Tea Recipe

Heart tea is warming and good for circulation and the heart. This tea will get your body moving.

Take 1/4 tsp. ground Cayenne pepper and put it into a mug. Add boiled water. You can add some sweet if you like to. Mix and sip.

This tea is good for anyone having a heart attack or think they are. For this you want to take 1 tsp. of ground Cayenne pepper and put it into a mug and add boiled water. Mix and sip. Continue this until you get to a doctor. This is not a cure, nor a prescription.

Yes, the taste is very spicy hot and yet my body loves it, and embraces it. Warm your heart with some spice today.

Almond Pulp Sweet Snack Cracker Recipe

These are easy and have a sweet taste. 5 ingredients.

Ingredients:

Almond pulp, from 2 cups Almonds that were processed into milk.
4 pitted dates that are in the pulp, from processed almond milk (or you can add another sweet equaling 2-4 T. In the form of another dried fruit processed or  2 T. liquid sweetener like; maple syrup, honey or corn syrup.)
1/4 cup organic coconut oil or cold pressed olive oil.
1/2 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
1 banana

Mix all into a bowl and flatten out to about 1/4-1/2 inch, onto baking sheet pan or dehydrator sheet.
I dehydrated at 135 for for a few hours then flipped it over and continued to dry until crisp. If only have an oven. Set oven to lowest setting and bake with door ajar until crisp. You can flip if you like or not.

As you can see I used a silicone baking sheet. This is good for oven or dehydrator and is xeno estrogen free.

I broke the snacks into free form pieces and store them in a plastic container on the counter.

Enjoy.

Dehydrated Brussel Sprouts Snack Recipe

Yes, I am over run with Brussel Sprouts. I got my Non toxic Weston dehydrator working again decided to dehydrate My extra Sprouts. This is what worked for me and these are great for a quick snack.

Cut the small sprouts in half and the bigger ones in 1/4 pieces/quartered. Put them in a bowl and drizzle some olive oil in and sprinkle the sprouts with salt. Mix with a utensil or your hand. Lay out on dehydrator racks (with silicon sheets or parchment paper if holes are big on racks). Dehydrate at 135 until crisp. Store in glass jars with fitted lids, in dry place out of the sun. This will ensure longer storage.

My first batch seemed like it was done. So, I put it in my jars. When I made my second batch, I decided to check my first batch. The first batch had become soft, because there was still moisture in some of them. My bad. Those ones are back in the dehydrator.  Quartering the larger Spouts ensure  a quicker and more even drying. This was noticed in the second batch.

You can add these to soups, stew, saute dishes or just snacking out of the jar. I love to snack on these. A great choice for a healthy snack. For cooking, you can rehydrate in a bowl of warm/hot water. I have read that adding some lemon juice is good to. That is optional of course.

Good luck and enjoy.
